This is Stage 2 - Groups of the Dreamhack Winter 2024 - Qualfier for the NA/EU/AUS client.

Event Structure

Stage 2 - Groups

Event runs from October 19th to October 20th, and has the format below:
  • Round Robin, BO2
  • 2 Groups (A & B), 8 Teams (from SE, 4 teams/group)
  • Captain's Pick, 5v5, Forests of Caldavar

Seed Method
- Teams were split based on total TOUR points in 2 categories
- Live draw so that each group has 2 good, 2 lesser teams

Dreamhack Winter 2024 - Qualifiers (NA/EU/AUS)
The event is split into 3 stages:

  • Single Elimination
  • Groups
  • Deathmatches

Top 8/Single Elimination qualified for Groups.
Top 3/group (6) will face off in Deathmatches.
Winners of Deathmatches (3) will qualify for the DHW 2024 event.

*All games are BO2. Scores above refer to individual wins/losses within the BO2 (eg. score 2-0 is marked above as 2 wins for Team A/2 losses for Team B).
* Three-way tie: In the case of a three-way tie, the winner is decided by having the highest team kill/death ratio in the games played against the other two teams.

Schedule

Match 1 and Match 4 start at 12:00 EDT | 18:00 CEST, M2/M3 and M4/M5 will start as soon as the previous one ends.
For all matches that are covered, teams can start the game only after the casters are in the lobby & observers.

Event Rules

Rules
Games will be hosted on public server, only admins and approved casters may observe.
Only members present on the team page may play.
All other HoN Tour Rules apply.

Stand-ins
Stand-ins can be added to the team (with no penalty) as long as the player hasn't played for any team during any stage of Dreamhack Winter Qualifiers.

Streaming
POV streaming is allowed with 6 min delay.
In order to cast/stream the match as an observer, whisper an admin to get approval and be added to the list below schedule tables.

How to host
Captains roll (/roll 1 100). Team with highest number will choose either first pick or side, the opponent will have the left over choice.
HoN Tour server rules apply (note: USE vs EU, EU hosts on USE and vice versa.)
