General Information
This year, the Dreamhack Winter 2024 LAN event will be a 10 teams tournament (format: TBA) that will be organized and run by Dreamhack. The qualifier information is as follows:
• 1 invite - Stay Green (winners of DHS 2024)
• 3 teams - Qualified through the Dreamhack Winter 2024 Qualifier (NA/EU/AUS region), organized by S2 Games and hosted on Hontour.com
• 1 team - Invited/Qualified by Garena
• 3 teams* - Invited/Qualified by open online qualifier for either Swedish or Nordic teams, organized by Dreamhack
• 2 teams* - BYOC Qualifiers, organized by Dreamhack.
*Teams invited/qualified through Dreamhack organized qualifiers will not receive travel stipends or hotel accommodations.
Dreamhack Winter 2024 Qualifier (NA/EU/AUS region)
For the NA/EU/AUS region, the qualifier consist of 3 stages, resulting in 3 overall winners.
Qualifier Prizes
Each winning team (including the reigning champions: Stay Green) will receive a $4,000 travel stipend, hotel accommodations and invite to the DHW 2024 LAN event.
Stages
1. Single Elimination ( or SE, 128 teams, BO3, stops after RO16, top 8 teams advance)
2. Groups (two groups of 4, 6 matches/group, BO2, top 3/group advance)
3. Deathmatches (3 matches, BO5, the 3 winners go to LAN event
*Stage 1 is hosted through the HoN Tour system, while Stage 2 and Stage 3 will be played on public server.
**All stages are played on Forests of Caldavar map, Captain's Pick, in a 5v5 format.
Seeding
1. Single Elimination - based on HoN Tour points each team has when the registration ends
2. Groups - Live draw on stream
2.5. 3-way tie: In the case of a three-way tie, the winner is decided by having the highest team kill/death ratio in the games played against the other two teams.
3. Deathmatches - top 3 teams/group (Group A, Group B): A1 vs. B3, A2 vs. B2, A3 vs. B1
In other words...
A maximum of 128 teams sign up for DHW 2024 - Qualifiers SE event, which stops after RO 16 is played, and the 8 winners move on to the Groups stage. Top 3 teams from each group move on to Stage 3 - Deathmatches, facing off eachother according to the seeding above. The winners of these 3 matches go to the DHW 2024 LAN event.

*In case of less than 128 sign ups the empty rounds will be cancelled and tournament starts with the first (partially) filled round according to the schedule above (the times & dates will not be modified).
*RO 128, RO 64 - can be rescheduled.
*RO 32, RO 16 - can only be rescheduled if it does not overlap with HoN Tour Cycle 5.
2. Groups
The two groups (Group A, Group B) will play in the same time, so schedule below applies to both.

M4 — 12:00 EDT | 18:00 CEST
M5 and M6 — starts as soon as the previous match ended.
*Groups matches cannot be rescheduled.
