And here we have it, folks, the last match days of 2024! The divisions, Diamond especially, were busy and exciting last weekend, and after the big surprise of [BMG]BadMonkeyGaming going to Gold Division after a loss against [Null]Nullstone Gaming, it's only getting better. But last weekend had more than just one surprise, also [PI]Prime Icarus managed to impress by actually staying in the Diamond Division after losing to [SynC]Sync eSports at first and then kicking [Ogr]Shrek is Love out of Diamond in the Losers Bracket. Their next match resulted in a strong showing against [Rea]Reason Gaming, where they won a game but eventually lost. The rest of the teams played as it was expected to them and this now leads to the following matchups for this weekend:


Reason Gaming versus Nullstone Gaming

Both teams had some trouble in the past and still have a little bit of gold around their noses, but in this cycle they managed to push through and reach the second weekend. This one is an interesting matchup because Reason Gaming defeated the Nullstonies in the very first round 2:0 but then lost to willowkeeper. They went on to have a bit of trouble fending off Prime Icarus in the Losers Bracket, while the Nullstones were dropped to the Losers Bracket right away, but sent BadMonkeyGaming packing to Gold Division and the [KNX]REXXARS to an early Christmas break. So, both teams look promising and it is certainly going to be a tough match for both. A fitting starter for this second weekend!


Sync eSports versus willowkeeper

Yes, no doubt this is a familiar matchup in the Winners Bracket finals. The teams know each other pretty well by now and both had a bit of a bad Cycle 4, but recovered from it in the next Cycle. Now they both go at full strength and it will be another display of high skill and team play we can feast our eyes on.

The Losers Bracket match will happen this Saturday at 12:00 EST | 18:00 CET, followed by the Winners Bracket finals at 15:00 EST | 21:00 CET, both matches being covered by Honcast[/b] as always. So get your snacks and beverages and enjoy another quality weekend with HoN Tour!
