RoLanD

I played a lot of DotA before I came to HoN, but still my transition was not easy. I was almost obsessed with Pandamonium, jumping around trying to do things, and I'm telling you, it was NOT pretty. This was when closed Beta started, so most of the people playing it had some kind of MOBA experience. I did too—but that did not stop me from feeding the enemy team (and the Kongor from time to time! :-P )

My favorite moment in HoN was probably around the time I first started playing competitively with O2—Clan Oxygen, which later got sponsored by RushRush Gaming—when we won some big ESL games. It felt really good; we were yelling and singing on Skype together, finding it hard to understand how we got there from playing public games named "Only +0,5 KDR players!! no noobs!!" Fun times.

[S2]Kros

The man behind the successful patching process and maintaining of servers, a very helpful mate and one of the most friendly, helpful people I have ever met, KROS!

Kros: I first played HoN back in closed Beta, and it was my first experience with MOBAs. I had pretty much no clue what I was doing and fed horribly as Accursed, went something like 0/12/2 or something ( it was a long time ago).

I have a ton of favorite moments, huge annihilations, my first immortal, grinding out matchmaking when it first came out. But, my favorite is probably the first time I played with an [S2] tag; getting hired by the company that made one of my favorite games means a helluva lot to me.

NoVa

No explanation needed here—the almighty NoVa, ex FnaticMSI player and current leader of QsQ. A true professional gamer!

NoVa: My first experience of HoN consisted of many, many MQ games while my brother played Jeraziah or the other way around during Open Beta. I managed not to feed but back then I focused a lot more on farming rather than anything else. I still remember that Valkyrie’s arrow would get stuck in trees, Legionnaire’s spin could kill wards and Tempest would spawn Elementals out of Malphas. Lots of fun back then!

I don't have a specific “most favorite” moment despite the four consecutive DreamHack wins. Every game that I can read well, when I'm 100% focused and just feel what's going to happen next—these moments are really amazing, when you're totally into it.

My ex-clanmate from HoNPortal, a very talented player, as well as being a very fun person to hang out with! Hate when he sings though—here you have PROBUSK!

probusk: I came from DotA to HoN, and the first thing I noticed was the new mechanics of the game compared to the old DotA. One in particular that I noticed was the Puppet Master hold; back then I found this really cool and I have been playing the game ever since, and I still think this game is awesome! :P

Back in Open Beta I actually only played 2 heroes: Pebbles and Voodoo Jester. This was because they were the only heroes I knew from DotA. However, after some time I went to try out some more heroes, and I guess I just kept playing. ^^

My favorite moment in HoN was back when Fayde came out, and you could hit people with his ultimate without breaking invisibility.

SoLeN

Someone I really enjoy scrimming with anytime, a clever player who always thinks out of the box, a chill player, current player of Clan Pikachu, SoLeN!

SoLeN: I actually don't remember. I think I did pretty well considering I had a lot of experience from DotA compared to many of the HoN newcomers. It was a pretty good experience since I was used to the delay in DotA and playing with no delay for the first time was amazing. Also the fact that you could reconnect if you dc'd was awesome, since my internet wasn't the most stable at the time.

I can’t really give you a “moment” but the best time for me was when I was playing on my old team (YSR), with Nir, DeathGr0wL, Frostymuffin and gordob when we were all quite new to the scene, we had a lot of fun. Trying different tactics and causing some huge upsets to the top teams at the time.

A very old mate of mine, probably one of the most skilled players I've ever played with, WAE_TO_BREI aka GORDOB!

Gordob: Played Moonqueen in the Beta, KSed as much as I could with Moonbeam!

Some days after TMM came out me and my first Norwegian clan ever met the famous Online Kingdom in a TMM game and beat them, was amazing :D I killed the Overpow dude on Valkyrie about 10 times with my codex hag inspired by Mr.Swish.
